Dancing in Tappan Square showcasing a graceful and effortless form

This past summer I had the opportunity to photograph with Hayley, who is a very skilled and talented contortionist and dancer. I wanted to showcase her talent of dance while also incorporating some architectural aspects and dimensions to the shoot. We opted for the Tappan Square, which is a park centrally located in downtown Oberlin, Ohio. I had been to this location before and had photographed a few other sessions throughout the small square as well, so I was pretty accustomed to the area. I definitely think the location provided a bold contrast to the light and delicate poses Hayley was so effortlessly portraying in the images.

Take a look at some of the fabulous images we created!
